Permanently Inscribed Giving Opportunities
There are many ways to honor family and friends at Har Shalom… a leaf, brick, or memorial plaque can be displayed as a permanent reminder. Please complete this form, or download and complete this PDF, to commemorate a milestone or event, or to remember a loved one.

Tree of Life: Commemorate your family’s special occasions and milestones — birth, b’nai mitzvah, wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc.

Options: $360 per leaf (3-4 lines, 25 characters/line); $1000 for a small stone, $2000 for large stone (5-7 lines per stone, 25 characters/line).

Megilat Simha Leaf:  Commemorate your simha with a brass leaf (up to 3 lines, 20 characters/line). These are displayed in the Cahan Sacntuary (formerly Gordon Sanctuary).

Options: $180 per leaf ($10 to reserve a blank).

Bricks:  For any occasion. These bricks are on the outside walkway at the Burke Sanctuary entrance.

Options: $180 per brick (up to 3 lines, 20 characters/line).

Burke Seat Plaque: For any occasion or remembrance. These brass plaques are placed on the back of the seat of your choice in the Burke Sanctuary.

Options: $1,800, or 3 annual payments of $600 each. First payment will reserve the seat, second will allow you to choose the location, and third will install the plaque. You will be contacted to choose the seat’s location (4 lines with up to 30 characters/line).

Yahrzeit Plaque: Memorialize your loved ones with a beautiful plaque.

Options: $500 for a plaque on the wall in Burke Sanctuary or Stein Family Chapel (formerly Sofair Chapel), or $140 to duplicate a plaque in the Burke Sanctuary of one currently located in the Chapel.
